Kiddie Academy Educational Child Care has opened its 300th child care center, in Urbandale. With its first Iowa center, the brand now has franchises in 33 states and the District of Columbia, with 70 more academies under construction, according to a press release . Located at 1401 Douglas Parkway, the Urbandale Kiddie Academy location will add 28 jobs and serve up to 182 children ages six months to 12 years old. Enrollment in the Kiddie Academy system increased 20% over the last year to a total of 38,500 children, the release said.
