Photo: Getty Images(Urbandale, IA) -- The city of Urbandale will receive $125,000 in grant money as part of the MidAmerican Energy Regional Fund, a $5,000,000 investment in ICON Water Trails. The Great Outdoors Foundation says the grant funds will go toward Walker Johnston Regional Park and establishing access to North Walnut Creek. The ICON Water Trails project is designed to connect 150 miles of waterway in Central Iowa. More information is available on the Great Outdoors Foundation website.
