AMES, Iowa — Leeds West Groups (LWG) plans to add a Big O location in Ames, its 13th location in Iowa. The Greenwood Village-Colo.-based group said it has signed a lease and will convert an existing automotive-service facility into a Big O retail location. The store is expected to open in the first quarter of 2023. Financial details were not disclosed. This marks the fourth Big O location LWG has added in Iowa since mid-August, when it acquired three other Big O locations — in Altoona, Ankeny and Urbandale — from Willis Automotive Group, based in Clive.
